With Atlanta being a home for the rap game, a native son Young Jeezy
stands as one of the best rappers to come out in years. With Jeezy's
confidence and swagger, he knew he would make it big in the rap world.
The anticipated debut "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101" hit the
stores Nov 22nd. Young Jeezy is not only a solo artist who is making a
huge buzz in the entertainment industry, he is also a part of the group
"Boyz n' da Hood"
This album is not so touching or personal, it's all about cash and
hoes. The first few songs on the album, talks about his rise from "ashy
to classy". Basically talks about his crack sales. The song "Let's Get
It/ Sky's the Limit" talks about how all the men should go and live
their dreams. Overall the album is very strong production-wise, with
contributions from Lil' Jon, Mannie Fresh, Pharrell, and Jazze Pha.
Jeezy's wordplay shows his creativity, skill and great potential. Maybe
in his future albums Jeezy will show us a larger scope of lyrical
content, because it seems like he has a lot to offer.
