The Pussycat Dolls began as a burlesque group in 1993
crated by a choreographer Robin Antin. Carmen Electra was one of the
lead dancers in the group. Their performances were always followed by
the classic tradition of burlesque. They had sexual performances that
focused on tease and humor rather then showing bare flesh or raunchy
sex. As the years went on, Pussycat Dolls have featured guest
appearance by many celebrities like Britney Spears, Pink, Gwen Stefani,
Christina Applegate and many more.
In 2005 Pussycat Dolls Lounge at Caesers Palace
opened as a permanent venue for Pussycat Dolls to perform. Later in
April their first single "Don't Cha" was released. The single reached
#1 on the pop singles chart in late July. The Pussycat Dolls released
their first album "PCD" on September 12 th, through Interscope Records.
For a 12 track album Pussycat Dolls worked with a big line-up of
producers. Pussycat Dolls are the new incarnation. In their songs and
music they have their own style, with catchy tunes. The release of
their new album "PCD" is taking them to a whole new level. If you liked
their first single 'Don't Cha' you're bound to love this Album.
