Morning After Girls
The Morning After Girls started playing in and around Melbourne. Their unique style of psychedelic sounds, insightful lyrics set the Morning After Girls a part from other bands. The group originally formed in Melbourne around 2003, but in 2004 founding members Sacha Lucashenko (voice/guitars) and Martin B. Sleeman (guitars/voice) relocated to Sydney and added extra talent with like-minded friends. These additions were: Aimee Nash (voice/guitars/ keys/percussion), Scott Von Ryper (bass/voice) and Anton Jakovljevic (percussion). The group has released two EPs to date, the first on Rubber Records in 2003 and the second on Fly Music in early 2005, both of which are self-titled. On Sept. 20, 2005, the band released their two EPs as one CD in the U.S., "The Morning After Girls: Prelude eps 1 & 2".
