Magic Numbers
The Magic Numbers sound is centered around the emotional songwriting and guitar playing talents of singer Romeo Stodart. Born and raised in Trinidad, Stodart's family moved to New York when he was teenager and later moved again to Ealing in London. There he met drummer Sean and the two started making music. To complete the band, they added Romeo's sister Michele on bass and vocals, while Sean's sister, Angela, took care of percussion and third vocals. The sound is beautiful with three-part harmonies and guitar playing that is technically outstanding and emotionally thrilling. Their music has many elements of '50s girl group rock and '60s co-ed folk, but polished over with high production value and pop cheerfulness. The songs will leave you utterly amazed.
