Lil Wyte
Discovered by Three 6 Mafia while in an all-white rap group in Tennessee Memphis, Lil Wyte's quick-rapping style was too appealing to go unnoticed. Juicy J and DJ Paul signed the rapper once the group parted ways. He immediately began working on his debut. Doubt Me Now appeared in 2003 and became the idle talk among the Southern rap scene. It sold over 126,000 units and is still consistently selling without the help of any video or radio airplay. Wyte's "Smoking Song", a single off the album, began appearing on several mixtapes. Word about the rapper found its way to Warner Bros. and the record label signed the artist. He brought Juicy J and DJ Paul along with him and the trio made Wyte's Phinally Phamous in 2004.
