It was back in 1995 when Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
(B.R.M.C.) emerged. When Robert Turner and Peter Hayes met in high
school in San Francisco, the two bonded when they realized they shared
the same interest in music. However, they put their project on hold and
decided to join other bands while still keeping in touch.
In 1998, both Robert Turner and Peter Hayes left their former
groups, got back together, only this time added drummer, Nick Jago.
In 1999, the group recorded an album which got them a buzz. Once
their singles hit airwaves, many labels were interested. They signed
with Virgin Records in 2000. After a brief tour, the band recorded,
"B.R.M.C." in 2001. B.R.M.C released "Take Them On, On Your Own" in
2003, and cut off ties with Virgin Records. RCA picked them up soon
after and the group released "Howl" in 2005.
